CVentriX Support
Use these checks for the local project, account workflows and common frontend/backend connection issues.
Backend not connecting
Start the ASP.NET API in Development mode, confirm SQL Server Express is running, then open https://localhost:7171/api/Health. The frontend should run through Live Server on an allowed local origin.
Login or saved data
Register with a valid email, keep the API running, and use the same browser profile. If a JWT expires or becomes invalid, sign in again instead of manually editing browser storage.
Resume PDF
If server PDF generation is unavailable, use the resume editor's browser print/download flow. The backend package also includes Playwright setup notes for PDF rendering.
AI assistant
No frontend API key is required. The backend uses the local career engine by default and can use a server-side OpenAI key when configured.
Report an issue
Include the page name, what you clicked, the exact error message, and whether the backend Health endpoint is online. Avoid sending passwords, JWT tokens, database passwords or API keys.
Open Contact FormCommunity
A public community forum is not currently included in this build. Use the Contact page for product feedback or support instead of linking users to a dead forum destination.
Accessibility
CVentriX aims to support keyboard navigation, readable contrast, semantic labels and reduced-motion preferences where implemented. If a control is not reachable or understandable with assistive technology, report the specific page and element through the Contact form.
